Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking processes in the kitchen.
Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient operations.
Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and organisation within the kitchen.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely food production and service during peak hours.
Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of kitchen staff to enhance team performance.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and creativity.
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a professional kitchen setting.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary trends, and kitchen management practices.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of quality.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and hygiene practices.
A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests.
