What You'll Be Doing:

Lead the Breakfast Team

: Manage and mentor a small team of cooks and kitchen staff, setting the tone for quality, efficiency, and positive morale.

Menu Development

: Curate and innovate a diverse breakfast menu, showcasing both classic comfort dishes and creative new offerings.

Consistent Execution

: Oversee the preparation and presentation of all breakfast dishes, ensuring consistency and high quality.

Order Management

: Supervise the flow of orders, ensuring meals are delivered promptly and to the highest standards during busy service times.

Stock & Inventory

: Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain a well-stocked kitchen without compromising on quality or budget.

Hygiene & Safety

: Ensure that food safety standards and kitchen cleanliness are maintained to the highest standards at all times.

Collaboration

: Work closely with the front-of-house team, baristas, and management to create a smooth and enjoyable experience for our guests.

What We're Looking For:

Experience

: 3+ years in a breakfast chef role or similar, with at least 1 year in a leadership position in a high-volume kitchen (coffee shop or casual dining experience is ideal).

Leadership Skills

: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage a team while keeping the kitchen organized, efficient, and motivated.

Creativity

: Strong sense of culinary creativity with the ability to elevate traditional breakfast dishes and introduce exciting new ideas.

Passion for Breakfast

: A genuine love for breakfast food and an understanding of what makes it special for customers.

Multitasking & Efficiency

: Ability to manage multiple tasks at once, especially during peak hours, while maintaining attention to detail.

Strong Palate & Presentation Skills

: A commitment to delivering delicious, beautifully presented dishes.

Food Safety & Hygiene

: In-depth knowledge of kitchen safety, food hygiene, and cleanliness procedures.

Team Player

: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments (baristas, servers, etc.).

Adaptability

: Ability to handle a range of tasks, from cooking to leading, and adjust to the evolving needs of the kitchen.
