The Golden Pheasant Inn Burford has recently completed a major refurbishment and we are seeking to extend our service by offering a full breakfast service. We have ambitious plans for our inn and the kitchen is at the heart of our operation. Our brand new kitchen is all electric (cool even in the summer heat!) and we want to work with creative and ambitious chefs. The role is Monday to Friday 7.00-3.00pm each day and we are seeking an experienced chef to run our breakfast service and report to the Head Chef
Ability to work in a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and presentation meet our standards.
Adapt to customer preferences.
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
Ensure timely service and exceptional guest experiences.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to coordinate service flow during busy periods.
Monitor kitchen operations to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef in high quality establishments.
Excellent culinary skills with a passion for cooking and creativity in the kitchen.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
