We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dining experiences while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities



Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service. Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels. Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and service standards. Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with dietary restrictions and preferences of guests.

Qualifications



Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong culinary skills with extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques. Supervising experience is essential; previous team management experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. A passion for cooking and an understanding of various cuisines is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and guests.
