The site features a bar and restaurant in the original building, a stylish restaurant housed in the new glass box extension to the rear and a large outdoor terrace. With over 1 million pounds invested in the site and having recently been awarded one AA rosette, this is the perfect opportunity for a Breakfast Chef. You will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen operations and ensuring the smooth preparation of high-quality dishes. This position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their culinary skills in a fast-paced AA rosette restaurant environment while working alongside experienced chefs.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of ingredients and cooking of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring all areas are hygienic and compliant with health regulations.
Support senior chefs in food production tasks, including chopping, slicing, and cooking various ingredients.
Participate in inventory management by helping to track stock levels and report any shortages to supervisors.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during service periods.
Follow all food safety protocols and guidelines to guarantee the quality and safety of food served.
Contribute to menu development by providing feedback on dishes and suggesting improvements based on customer preferences.
Skills
