Breakfast Chef - Shipquay Boutique Hotel

As Breakfast Chef, you'll be an integral part of our kitchen team, ensuring the highest standards of quality and service for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Breakfast Preparation:

Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes for our guests.

Food Preparation:

Support the team by assisting with the preparation of fresh ingredients.

Culinary Excellence:

Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to maintain consistency and creativity in the menu offerings.

Kitchen Operations:

Manage your station efficiently, ensuring all required ingredients are prepped and ready for service.

Deliveries and Stocking:

Assist with receiving deliveries, checking the quality of goods, and restocking ingredients in the kitchen while adhering to stock rotation practices.

Hygiene and Safety:

Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere to all food hygiene and kitchen safety standards. Ensure proper cleaning of workstations and shared kitchen areas.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service and provide support as needed.

Adaptability:

Be ready to take on additional responsibilities and challenges, showing flexibility.

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in a kitchen setting is essential. (Cook or Chef) A passion for cooking. Ability to work efficiently under pressure. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
