WEEKEND BREAKFAST CHEF - HILTON GARDEN INN DONCASTER

Hourly Rate of 14.50 per hour,

Overview

The Breakfast Chef will mainly work independently to effectively prepare, batch cook throughout service and serve the Hilton Breakfast offer, ensuring an excellent guest and customer experience. The Breakfast Chef will ensure that the preparation of the food is of a high standard and complies with food and safety regulations.

The role is predominantly covering weekend breakfast service; however the need may arise to assist with other services to cover absence/holidays

Main Duties

Ensure all food preparation meets standards. To ensure that a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in the kitchen operation. Attend all Health and Safety Training as directed by the Head Chef. Prepare and present high-quality food. Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues. Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety and food safety legislation. Keep all working areas clean and tidy and ensure no cross contamination. Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships Be environmentally aware

Person Specification

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 food preparation preferred Food Safety Certificate (or equivalent)

Experience

Proven track record in a similar role Previous experience within a branded hotel is a distinct advantage Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
