Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate breakfast Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, extensive culinary expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role involves overseeing food preparation, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards. The Chef will play a vital role in maintaining high-quality service and fostering a positive team environment. You will need t be flexible, able to work during the week and weekends.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards Manage food production processes, ensuring consistency and quality across all menu items Oversee food safety protocols, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with regulations Coordinate with suppliers for ingredient procurement and inventory management Develop new menu items in collaboration with management, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends Maintain organised kitchen operations, including equipment maintenance and stock control

Experience

Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food preparation techniques Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management Previous experience in restaurant service or catering roles is advantageous Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
