Breakfast/ Prep Chef



4-day working week 13-14 Per Hour, subject to experience and shift pattern



Healing Manor Hotel is a prestigious venue in North East Lincolnshire with an excellent reputation locally for delivering award-winning food. The is across functions such as weddings, Christenings, wakes, corporate functions and more, and our 2-rosette dining pub and restaurant, The Pig & Whistle.

Our new Breakfast/Prep Chef will report the Head Chef and Sous Chef. You will oversee all of the role activities and uphold the hotel's reputation and deliver exceptional and memorable service to all customers.

This full-time and hands-on role is a 4 day working week, which works to a 70/30 4/5 day working week. 70% of the year, you will work a 4 day working week and 30% of the year a 5 day working week, to support seasonality and holiday cover.

Your main duties and responsibilities as our breakfast and prep chef will be.

Working breakfast shifts and responsible for all food orders and any issues during the service. Ensuring any early morning orders are correctly stored and put away. All relevant prep work to be completed. Kitchen opening checks and Fridge/freezer temperature checks. General work area clean, tidy, and functional always including deep cleans. Preparing of afternoons teas for weekend service. Stock rotation and ordering of stock. Delivering a high quality standard of food, inline with the companies ethos of exceptional good. Preparation of prep with pre-planning of up to 3 days. Ensuring desserts, garnish are all ready for booked events including weddings, parties and corporate functions. Must support all areas of the kitchen when required to do so at the request of the senior team. You will be a key player within the senior team of the kitchen. Support with ideas for new menus and SOP's for recreating dishes. Must be able to work on own initiative. Working alongside FOH team to create outstanding service. Weighing and measuring of ingredients Training of new and trainee kitchen team members when required.

Experience



A background in hospitality, or corporate events or food production.

A proven track record in kitchen success.

Experience of working as a Breakfast, Prep, or other equally achieving kitchen roles.

The knowledge and capability to present exceptional standards.

Outstanding eye for detail

Excellent organisational and co-ordination skills

Pay: 13.00-14.00 per hour
