We are seeking a talented and experienced Breakfast Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient utilisation of resources
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and maintaining high morale
Develop innovative menus that cater to diverse customer preferences while adhering to dietary restrictions and food safety regulations
Ensure all food production meets quality standards, including taste, presentation, and freshness
Maintain strict adherence to health and safety protocols within the kitchen environment
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and minimise waste through effective stock management
Train new team members on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and customer service standards
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery during busy periods
Requirements
Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong culinary skills with a comprehensive understanding of food preparation and cooking techniques
Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations (HACCP certification preferred)
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
Experience in menu development and food presentation
Exceptional communication skills with a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction
Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is highly desirable
A passion for culinary arts and delivering memorable dining experiences
