Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in culinary arts and have experience in food preparation within a restaurant environment. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes, ensuring food safety standards are met, and leading a team to deliver outstanding hospitality experiences.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the restaurant's menu and standards. Supervise kitchen staff and assist in their training and development. Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to. Collaborate with the management team to develop new recipes and menu items. Maintain an organised kitchen environment, ensuring cleanliness and efficiency. Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary. Assist in the planning of special events or catering services as required. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that all dishes meet guest expectations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate kitchen staff. Exceptional culinary skills with a passion for food preparation and presentation. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on teamwork. Pay: 13.00-15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 24 per week
