As a Breakfast Chef, you will play a vital role in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes. You will be responsible for your specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that it operates smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise and creativity will help maintain our standards and delight our guests. You will also be responsible for afternoon tea service.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards, following recipes and guidelines.

Oversee a specific section of the kitchen.

Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in an attractive and appetizing manner.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef with menu planning and development.

Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.

Train and supervise junior kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to quality and safety standards.

Stay updated on industry trends and bring new ideas to the team.

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef in a similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel.

Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.

Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations.

Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong attention to detail and a passion for food.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
