Following a multi-million-pound refurbishment, we are delighted to introduce The Welbeck Hotel, located in the heart of Marylebone. Previously Holiday Inn London Oxford Circus, The Welbeck Hotel offers an upscale boutique feel to all 164 bedrooms that matches the classic 19th century architecture.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, positive, flexible and passionate Breakfast Chef to be part of our newly refurbished & fantastic Kitchen Team on a full-time basis. if this is you we want to hear from you!

As a Breakfast Chef, you will be an integral part of the Kitchen Brigade delivering exceptional food across the outlets whilst ensuring consistency is a key focus.

You will be passionate about food and show this in every dish that leaves the kitchen with a focus on guest experience at the forefront.

As a Breakfast Chef, candidates will be expected to undertake shift work & be flexible to work 40 hours/week, 5 days over 7.

Duties and Responsibilities:



To assist with the creation of high-quality food Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, maintenance & safety in the kitchen Assist with the creation and presentation of breakfast each day Greet guests at the buffet service and upsell the buffet to guests Assist the Kitchen Manager (Morning Operations) in controlling of all kitchen operations as requested Ensure the effective delivery of the either A La Carte and Buffet Breakfast and assisting with the Meeting & Events offerings to ensure the highest standards of food quality are achieved and the timely delivery to the guest. To ensure healthy options are provided and maintained for the Staff Restaurant. To be able to create a staff menu which a can be rotated monthly with the assistant of HR and Kitchen Manager Ensure that the brand standards of product preparation and quality are adhered to and delivered on a consistent basis. Effectively plan and manage the product ordering for the breakfast service to ensure optimum stock levels at all times and menu item availability at all times for the guest. Ensure effective organisation of the breakfast service to consistently deliver quality plated breakfast regardless of volumes. Liaise with other Chefs in the kitchen and also personnel within the hotel

Experience required:



Previous experience at this level in similar environment required Previous qualifications related to food highly desirable Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Positive, can-do approach Team player Excellent customer service skills
