We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. Responsibilities



Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient team management and coordination. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with recipes and quality standards. Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence. Manage food safety protocols, including hygiene standards and allergen control. Assist in menu planning and development to reflect current trends and customer preferences. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Provide training and mentorship to junior kitchen staff to foster professional growth. Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements



Proven experience in a culinary or kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Familiarity with food production processes and menu development. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Good communication skills and the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred but not essential. A passion for delivering outstanding customer service through exceptional cuisine.

Pay: 427.35 per week

Expected hours: 35 per week
