Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with the restaurant's menu and standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food production. Assist in menu planning, including the development of new recipes and seasonal offerings. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery to guests. Train new kitchen personnel on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Handle any customer complaints or feedback regarding food quality promptly and professionally.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles. Experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing a team effectively. Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to food production. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
