We are looking for a reliable and passionate Breakfast Chef to join our kitchen team and lead the preparation of a high-quality breakfast service. The ideal candidate will be an early riser with a strong work ethic, excellent culinary skills, and a commitment to maintaining hygiene and quality standards.
We're happy to consider either one full-time Breakfast Chef or two part-time chefs to share the role -- the right fit and passion for the job matter most to us.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook breakfast dishes to a consistently high standard Set up and manage the breakfast station, ensuring all mise en place is ready ahead of service Work independently and efficiently during early morning shifts Ensure food is presented attractively and served on time Manage stock levels for breakfast ingredients and notify Head Chef of low stock Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen according to food safety standards Follow all health and safety regulations and kitchen procedures Assist with other kitchen duties when required
Skills and Experience:
Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or in a similar chef role Strong knowledge of breakfast cooking techniques (e.g. poaching, grilling, baking) Ability to work independently and under pressure during busy service times Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above preferred) Good communication and time management skills Positive attitude and team-oriented approach
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 25,000.00-26,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 40 per week
