Job Description

We are looking for a breakfast chef for a very busy cafe serving breakfast from 7am, lunch and lighter bites in the afternoon. Are you a dynamic and enthusiastic team player. If you are looking for a new challenge and would like to be part of one of Newcastle's busiest cafes then this is the role for you. We have a strong reputation, providing quality in food, drinks and service. This venue has a great busy breakfast trade with a strong lunch service.

If you are passionate about service in a fun environment and have the relevant experience then this could be the opportunity for you.

This role would suit someone looking for earlier shifts starting at 7am and usually finished by 2pm. Ideal if you are looking for a bit more work life balance.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure a high standard of service and hospitality. Fostering a collaborative team environment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Manage food preparation and cooking to specification, while also managing inventory and supplies.

Qualifications

Line Chef experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting Strong self management Culinary and food safety knowledge Experience in food preparation and cooking Background in food production and kitchen operations
Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 12.21-14.50 per hour
