To prepare and serve cold and hot breakfast items to the proprietors standard
To ensure that all kitchen areas are maintained in an efficient and professional manner, under hygienic conditions to the standards required by law and of the and Head Chef.
Specific Responsibilities
To maintain high standards of hygiene
To ensure all surface and contact areas are cleaned after service
To assist the Head Chef in the preparation and service ofother meals.
To ensure personal hygiene and appearance are maintained to the standard of the Head Chef
Implementation of and adherance to the Hotel's Safer Food Better Business practices and standards-including implementation of the kitchen cleaning rota.
Ensure compliance with statutory legislation inluding the following:-
Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 - this includes monitoring personal hygiene, kitchen hygiene and the reporting of accidents, faulty or hazardous equipment or practice.

Food Hygiene (General) Regulations Act 1977
Food Safety (General Food Hygiene) Regulations 1995
Food Safety (Temperature Control) Regulations 1995
