Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Breakfast Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant operations and culinary arts, with a focus on food preparation and production. As a Breakfast Chef, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional dining experiences while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. This position requires leadership skills to supervise kitchen staff and maintain an efficient kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth food preparation and production processes. Develop and implement innovative menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to, maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen. Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Assist in the planning of special events and catering services as required. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Maintain high standards of presentation for all dishes served.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or similar culinary environment. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food production processes, and food safety regulations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate kitchen staff effectively. Creative flair with a passion for cooking and presenting high-quality dishes. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and front-of-house staff. Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred but not essential.
