Key Responsibilities
Hygiene & Standards:
Ensure health and hygiene standards within the galley, stores, and food servery are maintained at a level equal to or exceeding Port Health requirements.
Stock Management:
Where necessary, assist in ordering and receiving the vessel's catering stock/stores, including checking deliveries and highlighting any discrepancies.
Waste Management:
Ensure that all waste oil and garbage are disposed of correctly and in the proper manner.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess:
A
Food Hygiene Certificate
(or equivalent qualification).
Prior
experience
in a similar role.
A strong awareness of the importance of
Health & Safety
and
food hygiene requirements
in a professional setting.
