We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, along with experience in supervising kitchen staff. The Chef will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth workflow. Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and organisation in the kitchen. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety practices, and equipment use. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent customer service.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong knowledge of food production techniques, culinary arts, and kitchen management. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation. A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
