Giant Hospitality Group are seeking an experience breakfast chef to join our team in Ripon, North Yorkshire. This is a temporary role, with the possibility of it turning permenant in the new year. The restaurant is open for breakfast between Thursday-Sunday, with Sunday morning's service leading into Sunday lunch.
Responsibilities
Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Oversee food safety protocols, hygiene standards, and proper handling of ingredients
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimise waste to optimise kitchen operations
Ensure all food served meets quality standards and consistency is maintained across all dishes
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in accordance with health regulations
Qualifications
Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality settings
Strong background in food production, preparation, cooking, and presentation techniques
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and management
