Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation. Create and develop new menu items that highlight seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as necessary to maintain stock. Assist in managing kitchen budgets, controlling waste, and optimising costs. Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards before serving.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary arts. Leadership experience in managing kitchen staff is highly desirable. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices is crucial. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn new techniques and cuisines.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 195.00-200.00 per week

Expected hours: 16 per week
