Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a positive team environment. Prepare high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene practices. Collaborate with other chefs to develop new menu items and enhance existing offerings. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols. Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling. Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
