Working on the grill, you will be responsible for preparing all orders to the highest standard. You will be responsible for opening & closing the kitchen by closely following the guidelines set out. You will ensure all orders are accurately put together. You must be able to follow processes that are already in place. You must be able to work as part of a team. You must have worked in a very busy kitchen environment as sometimes there are as many as 50 orders waiting. It is essential that you work safely, quickly and efficiently. You must be able to muti-task and think quickly on your feet with common sense. Experience of working on a large Grill is essential. You must be able to listen to instructions, remain calm and be able to work under pressure without it effecting your work.
Additionally, ensuring that all policies and procedures laid down by management are implemented.
Breakfast Chef Duties and Responsibilities:
Setting up and cleaning down the kitchen at the end of each service to the highest standard.
Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and hygienic at all times.
Ensure that all areas of food preparation and cooking are of the highest quality at all times are inline with fsa guidelines.
Liaise with manager to plan weekly specials menu.
Personal grooming and appearance standards are met regarding cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene.
Adhere to Health & Safety policies and regulations.
Adhere to FSA guidelines and fill in FSA paperwork daily. Review & update regularly.
Attend training courses as and when required.
Hours of work are normally 7.30am to 2.30pm over 5 shifts a week.
Carry out any other duties as required by management.
Prerequisites:
Passion for cooking
Friendly outgoing personality along with excellent personal presentation.
Passionate about producing high quality food.
Be an excellent team player
Minimum of 2 years' experience.
Have current food hygiene certificate level 2
The wage starts from 13.00 an hour. Will be reviewed on completion of probation. Probation period of 3 months
