Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, with the ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing food production, ensuring food safety standards are met, and creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels to ensure availability of ingredients.
Collaborate with the management team to develop seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and promote teamwork.
Ensure the kitchen is organised, clean, and well-maintained at all times.
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Comprehensive knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and food production processes.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes is essential.
