Duties
Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service.
Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences.
Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and proper cooking methods.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste in every dish served.
Handle any customer complaints or feedback with professionalism and promptness.
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment.
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food production techniques, and food safety standards.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating high-quality dishes.
Experience in menu planning and cost control is advantageous.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
