Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Breakfast Chef to lead our morning culinary operations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional breakfast and brunch experiences. This role involves overseeing food preparation, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining efficient kitchen operations to provide guests with high-quality breakfast offerings in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure consistency, taste, and presentation excellence Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize kitchen efficiency Enforce food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations Supervise catering events or special breakfast functions as required Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery during breakfast hours Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area and ensure all equipment is properly maintained

Qualifications

Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry Experience with inventory management, control, and cost optimization Strong background in food service management, catering, restaurant operations, or hospitality environments Excellent cooking skills with proficiency in food preparation techniques specific to breakfast dishes Familiarity with dietary requirements and accommodating special dietary needs in menu planning is a plus Previous experience in banquet settings or catering is desirable

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-13.15 per hour
