We are seeking a passionate and skilled Breakfast Chef to join our team. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the cafe's menu and standards. Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection. Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and teamwork. Supervise daily kitchen operations, including inventory management and ordering supplies as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction. Assist in menu planning, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices and policies.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is essential. Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation. Experience in team management and supervising kitchen staff is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is required. A culinary degree or relevant certification would be an advantage but is not mandatory. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment are crucial.
