Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Breakfast Chef to join our team at one of our independent schools in Worksop S80 3AP.


This is a permanent, term-time position. Working hours will be 40 a week on a rota basis.

We work in office restaurants, independent schools and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout.


We are looking for a positive, honest and reliable employee to join our friendly and hardworking team. We can offer good training and prospects within our team for the right candidate.


Serving around 600 students and staff daily, you'll take responsibilty for the production and service of the buffet style and continental breakfast, and the daily salad bar. You'll deliver high-quality, nutritious food with a focus on freshness and presentation. You'll also support the team with prep, ordering, and menu development of the lunch and supper service and homemade dessert counter.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Have experience working in a similar role and environment procuding quality meals from scratch Be highly organised and comfortable working in a high-pressured environment Ensure you have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety Keep up standards of hygiene and ensure all areas are clean and tidy Have excellent customer service and social skills Be responsible for the preparation and serving of food to staff Have a can do attitude and will work well as part of a team of 10 Be customer focused Be willing to participate and enjoy working part of the team
