Key Responsibilities

Prepare breakfast dishes to a high standard and maintain consistency throughout service Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient food production Supervise and support kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient team environment Provide guidance on food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation Maintain a clean, hygienic, and well-organised kitchen at all times Lead food safety initiatives and ensure compliance with health regulations Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and excellent customer experience Manage stock levels, take accurate inventory, and order supplies as needed Control waste and optimise kitchen efficiency Assist in developing new menu items in collaboration with management Train new team members on preparation techniques, safety procedures, and service standards

Skills & Requirements

Proven experience in food production, culinary arts, or restaurant settings Previous breakfast chef or line chef experience preferred Strong leadership abilities within a busy kitchen environment Excellent cooking, food preparation, and plating skills Sound knowledge of food safety regulations and best hospitality practices Ability to manage a team while maintaining high quality and service standards Strong organisational skills for stock control and kitchen workflows Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and front-of-house staff Experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is highly desirable
