Assist in the day-to-day duties of providing the breakfast club provision.
To assist and carry out any instructions given, in serving of breakfast, clearing away and cleaning processes observing all food hygiene and health and safety regulations.
Assist in the organising of pupils applying particular attention to pupil needs and safety.
The post involves supervising and supporting pupils and having oversight of the children's welfare while in school during the lunchtime period.
Encouraging the development of good eating habits and table manners.
Being responsible for dealing with spillages/breakages during breakfast.
Organising activities for children as appropriate.
Challenging inappropriate behaviour and providing boundaries of acceptable behaviour.
Identifying causes of concern displayed by pupils and reporting these to the Senior Supervisor or Class Teacher where appropriate.
Administering first aid to pupils.
Undertaking such other duties which may be required by the Headteacher.
These duties and responsibilities should be regarded as neither exhaustive nor exclusive, as the postholder may be required to undertake other reasonably determined duties and responsibilities commensurate with the grading of the post, without changing the general character of the post. Dependant on need, you may be deployed across the Trust
