We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable individual to join our team as a Breakfast Club Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young children in a warm and friendly environment, helping them start their school day positively.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome children and parents at the start of the day.
Prepare and serve a healthy breakfast to children in line with dietary requirements and hygiene standards.
Supervise children during breakfast and morning play, ensuring a safe and engaging environment.
Encourage good manners, positive behaviour, and social interaction.
Set up and clear away activities and dining areas.
Report any concerns about children's well-being to the Breakfast Club Leader or designated safeguarding lead.
Follow the school's safeguarding and health and safety policies at all times.
The Ideal Candidate will:
Have experience working with children (preferred but not essential).
Be warm, approachable, and enthusiastic about working in a school setting.
Be punctual, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Hold a current food hygiene certificate (or be willing to obtain one).
Have a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
