As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests enjoy high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications. Assist in the planning and preparation of menus, ensuring that all dishes are presented attractively. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen, adhering to all health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and available. Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to ensure a safe working environment. Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Experience

Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred but not essential. A solid understanding of food safety practices is crucial for this position. Familiarity with various cooking techniques and cuisines will be advantageous. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy kitchen environment. A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests is essential.
