We're looking for friendly, reliable, and hardworking individuals to join our team at

The Beresford Arms

, Whalton. This is a

dual role

providing

exceptional morning breakfast service

to our overnight guests, followed by

housekeeping duties

to ensure our rooms are beautifully prepared for new arrivals.

About the Role

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Friday, approx. 8:00am - 2:00pm

Breakfast Service:

Serving up to 19 guests alongside our Breakfast & Housekeeping Supervisor

Duties:

Morning breakfast service followed by room cleaning and housekeeping

Key Responsibilities

Breakfast Service:

Work alongside our Breakfast & Housekeeping Supervisor to deliver smooth and efficient service Greet guests warmly and deliver friendly, attentive service Serve breakfast prepared by our skilled kitchen team Offer tea, coffee, and other beverages Clear and reset tables, maintaining a tidy and welcoming dining space

Housekeeping Duties:

Clean and service up to 6 bedrooms and a suite Change bed linen and towels, restock amenities (tea, coffee, toiletries) Maintain cleanliness in public areas of the pub Vacuum, dust, and polish to a high standard Report any damages or maintenance issues to management promptly

What We're Looking For

Previous hospitality experience is a bonus, but

full training will be provided

Friendly and professional attitude with a strong work ethic Great attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards Ability to work independently and support the wider team

Must be able to reliably commute

to Whalton, as we are

not accessible by public transport
