Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the restaurant industry and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided to the right candidate.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing genuine recommendations. Ensure all health and safety standards, including food safety procedures, are adhered to at all times. Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff when required. Clear tables promptly and maintain cleanliness of service areas throughout shifts. Handle guest queries or complaints professionally, striving to resolve issues promptly and courteously. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations and excellent guest experiences.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or similar roles is advantageous but not mandatory. Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is desirable. Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities. Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour to engage with guests effectively. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment. Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately. Kitchen or culinary experience can be beneficial but is not essential. A positive attitude, reliability, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest service are essential qualities for success in this role.
