Overview

We are seeking an Associate to join our Breakfast team in our restaurant and take away. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and excellence in food service, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. Our top priority is an outstanding customer experience from the moment a customer walks through the door. Duties will mainly include service and the preparation of breakfast items. Full training will be provided to the right candidate so no prior experience required (although helpful). We are looking for well presented people who are available to work mornings each day (currently Thursday through Sunday), so please do not apply if you cannot meet this criteria. Shifts are also available outside of these times if that is of interest to applicants wishing more hours.

Responsibilities

- Provide exemplary customer service during each customer interaction

- Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations

- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently and monitor order system

- Prepare breakfast and drinks items as required

- Process payments and operate the point of sale system

- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of kitchen and restaurant at all times

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate service

- Uphold food safety standards at all times

Skills

- Experience in restaurant or breakfast service is highly desirable

- Ability to provide excellent customer service and help customers with inquiries

- Knowledge of catering, or restaurant operations is advantageous

- Understanding of food safety practices is beneficial (training will be provided)

- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

- Honest, hardworking, reliable and flexible

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
