We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Team Members to join our breakfast team. You will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our guests while ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. This position requires a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and preparation.
The hours are 6am until 11am Monday to Friday and 6.30am to 11.30 at the weekend, working 5 days a week.
Duties
Set up the breakfast area, including arranging food items, beverages, utensils, and condiments in an appealing and organised manner.
Greet guests warmly and assist them with any requests or questions about the breakfast offerings.
Monitor the breakfast buffet and replenish food and beverages as needed, ensuring everything is fresh and well-stocked.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as preparing coffee, tea, and other beverages, as well as heating or assembling simple breakfast items.
Ensure that all food items are presented attractively and maintained at the correct temperature.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards to ensure the safety and quality of all food served.
Provide attentive and friendly service to all guests, addressing any special dietary needs or requests.
Respond to guest inquiries promptly and professionally, resolving any issues to ensure a positive dining experience.
Gather feedback from guests and communicate any concerns or suggestions to the hotel manager.
Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and service stations.
Clear tables, wash dishes, and clean up spills or messes promptly to maintain a tidy environment.
Assist in the breakdown and cleaning of the breakfast area after service, including storing food items and cleaning equipment.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and safe use of kitchen equipment.
Skills
Be confident working on your own or as part of a team
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential.
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
A genuine desire to help others and provide an exceptional guest experience.
