Duties

Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism. Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's ordering system. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards. Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and promotions. Monitor tables to ensure guest satisfaction and respond to any requests or concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards throughout service. Assist with food preparation as needed during busy periods.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a genuine desire to provide excellent guest services. Previous restaurant experience preferred, particularly in a serving role. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Experience in kitchen or culinary settings is advantageous but not mandatory. Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining guest satisfaction.
