Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling. Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring presentation meets our high standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, responding promptly to any requests or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. Assist with food preparation as needed, collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely service. Process payments accurately and efficiently, ensuring all transactions are handled with care. Work collaboratively with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall guest services.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments effectively. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain high hygiene standards. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and colleagues alike. A proactive attitude towards upselling menu items and enhancing the guest experience is highly desirable. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by the business needs.
