We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a vibrant restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering outstanding hospitality and ensuring that every patron feels valued and satisfied. Your ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanour will be essential in this fast-paced setting.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials, to enhance the dining experience. Upsell food and beverage items to maximise sales opportunities. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Adhere to all food safety regulations and standards during food preparation and service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order fulfilment. Handle payments accurately, ensuring correct change is given. Perform Kitchen Porter Duties as and when required

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates who are eager to learn. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Basic culinary skills and familiarity with food preparation techniques are beneficial. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Excellent guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons. Basic maths skills for processing orders and handling payments.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
