Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality.
Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management to minimise waste.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Participate in menu development and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to lead and motivate others.
Familiarity with various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
