Job Summary

Delivering prompt, friendly service during morning hours, typically setting up/restocking buffets, taking a la carte orders, and maintaining a clean dining area. Key duties include greeting guests, taking breakfast orders, serving food and beverages, clearing tables, and ensuring high guest satisfaction to start the day, often requiring early morning shifts.

Duties

Service & Guest Care:

Welcoming guests warmly, taking breakfast orders, and providing menu recommendations (including dietary requirements).

Buffet Management:

Setting up, replenishing, and clearing the breakfast buffet, ensuring it remains well-stocked, tidy, and hygienic.

Table Service:

Setting tables with cutlery, tableware and glassware, and cleaning them promptly after guest departure.

Food & Beverage Delivery:

Running food from the kitchen, acting as a barista (if required), and clearing tables of dirty crockery.

Cleaning

: Maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant, including sweeping/mopping and cleaning service areas.

Communication:

Working with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow and addressing guest inquiries or complaints.

Functions:

Setting functions, taking orders and serving guests ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience.

Qualifications

Customer Service:

Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, friendly demeanor.

Flexibility:

Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and bank holidays.

Efficiency:

Ability to work fast under pressure during busy periods.

Communication:

Good spoken English.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand for long periods and lift trays.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 20 per week
