Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Waiter/ Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in hospitality or hotel environments is highly desirable.

Responsibility

Ravenwood Hall Hotel is a busy restaurant, hotel & events venue in Rougham, Bury St Edmunds.

We are looking to hire new people as waiting staff for immediate start, serving food in the restaurant as well as at weddings & events in our Pavilion.

Mature applicants are welcome. This could also be an exciting opportunity for those that have just left school, or are at university as a first employment. Full training can be provided & no previous experience is necessary.

The ideal candidate:

Will have a meticulous eye for detail, ensuring all orders are sent through the kitchen correctly and guests' bills are in order. Will look smart & tidy whilst on duty. Have a professional and courteous manner.

Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on guest services Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment Proficient in using office equipment and computer software applications A friendly disposition with a passion for providing outstanding customer service
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 11.50-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
