As the operational manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the CMHT. You will oversee the delivery of a service against key performance indicators and work with teams to ensure that they are able to meet the needs of the local population. You will work with external agencies to develop an integrated place-based model of care that we deliver to residents in the neighbourhoods they live in.
You will have opportunity and training to develop skills and will be supported by a Deputy Director and Service manager with a comprehensive, and detailed understanding of mental health.
Our ideal candidate would be a mental health professional with a strong interest in working with adults with mental health conditions in the community and a commitment to improving services and their own professional development. An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Brent Community Mental Health Health Team as an Operational Team Manager.
The successful candidate will be a forward thinking highly visible leader, with a commitment to the development of services.
You will need to have significant experience at band 7 or above to be eligible to apply for this opportunity.
The successful candidate will have proven track records of leadership and development, be an effective role model, self-motivated with the commitment, drive and adaptability to thrive in these demanding posts.
They will need to be flexible and resilient in order to cope with the demands of the role. In addition, they must be able to influence and negotiate in order to improve the service the teams provide for their patients. Evidence of continuing professional development is essential. You will work closely with the full range of the multi-disciplinary team.
