We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks that support the operations of our projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. The Labourer will work closely with skilled tradespeople and other team members to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment
Carry out general site maintenance and cleaning duties
Follow instructions from supervisors and assist skilled workers as needed
Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Maintain a clean and organised work environment
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly
Requirements
Previous experience in a labouring role is preferred but not essential
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities
Valid health and safety certifications are advantageous but not mandatory
