I'm working with a training provider in the Bristol area who are looking to appoint a Brickwork Tutor to deliver apprenticeship training to learners working towards industry-recognised qualifications.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced bricklayer who wants to step off the tools and move into training. No previous teaching experience is required -- all teaching and assessing qualifications are fully funded.
The role
Delivering practical and classroom-based brickwork training to apprentices
Teaching core skills aligned to apprenticeship standards
Supporting learners with on-the-job skills development and progression
Assessing learner work and providing constructive feedback
Using provided resources to plan and deliver sessions
What they're looking for
Strong industry background in brickwork
Passion for developing apprentices and sharing trade knowledge
Good communication and organisation skills
Willingness to complete funded teaching/assessing qualifications
