Job Summary

we are currently looking for a skilled bricklayer to join our friendly team @ CREST work with involve laying of porcelain and sandstone patios repointing of chimneys and walls building walls out of blockwork and brickwork to a high standard for residential clients

building extensions to detailed plans

Responsibilities

Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units according to specifications. Measure and cut materials to ensure precise fitting. Mix mortar and other bonding agents as required for various projects. Construct walls, arches, and other structures using bricks and blocks. Repair existing masonry structures by replacing damaged bricks or blocks. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on construction sites. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. most of all respecting customers home by being clean and tidy at all times

Experience

Proven experience in masonry or bricklaying is essential. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in masonry work. Experience working on roofs is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong understanding of construction methods and materials. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is beneficial.
