Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join a team on a new residential build . The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of masonry and bricklaying techniques, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role involves constructing high end new build houses made of brick, stone, and other materials while ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Lay bricks, blocks, and stones according to specifications and plans. Construct walls, arches, and other structures using various masonry techniques. Repair and maintain existing brickwork and masonry structures. Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and roofers, to complete projects efficiently. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

Skills

Proficient in bricklaying techniques with a strong understanding of masonry principles. Experience using hand tools such as trowels, chisels, and levels. Familiarity with power tools relevant to masonry work. Basic carpentry skills are advantageous for integrating masonry with other construction elements. Knowledge of roofing techniques is beneficial for projects involving external structures. Welding skills are a plus for certain masonry applications. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions. Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: 24.00-25.00 per hour
