Overview

We are seeking a skilled Brick Mason to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of masonry techniques and be proficient in both traditional and modern bricklaying methods. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work collaboratively on various construction projects.

Duties

Lay bricks, blocks, and other types of masonry materials according to specifications and drawings. Construct and repair walls, chimneys, and other structures using hand tools and power tools. Ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality standards while adhering to safety regulations. Measure and cut materials accurately to fit specific dimensions. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and roofers, to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Assist in the training of apprentices or less experienced workers as needed.

Experience

Proven experience in bricklaying and masonry is essential. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction. Knowledge of carpentry and roofing principles is advantageous. Experience with welding techniques is a plus but not mandatory. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
